Manual pin-grabber coupler for 1 – 3.5 ton excavators. Swap attachments in under a minute. Free UPS or FedEx Ground shipping.
A quick coupler is the attachment that makes the other attachments worth owning. Without one, swapping a bucket for a ripper means knocking out two pins with a drift and a hammer and finding somewhere to put them; with one, it is a lever, a safety pin and under a minute.
This is a manual pin-grabber, which is deliberate. A hydraulic coupler needs a second auxiliary circuit and adds a failure mode; a manual pin-grabber has one moving part, a hardened wedge on a threaded adjuster, and it can be taken up as it wears so the attachment never develops slop. The safety pin is captive on a short chain, and the front jaw is open-throat so it picks up a range of pin spacings rather than one exact size.
| Machine weight range | 1 – 3.5 tons |
|---|---|
| Machine pin diameter | 1.57 – 1.97 in. (40 – 50 mm) – pin and bush kit supplied |
| Width between mounting ears | 5.9 – 7.9 in. (150 – 200 mm) – spacer bushes supplied |
| Attachment pin range it picks up | 1.57 – 1.97 in. (40 – 50 mm) |
Every excavator we sell falls inside that range, so this coupler fits the MX-10, MX-10E, MX-17, MX-25 and MX-35, and it picks up every attachment we sell. If your machine is not one of ours, send us those three numbers and we will confirm before you order.

WARNING: this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
Looking after it: always fit the safety pin before you use an attachment, and take up the wedge adjuster as soon as you can feel movement between the coupler and the attachment – slop is what wears the jaw. Grease the pin bosses with the machine.
At 95 lb this coupler is over the USPS 70 lb limit, so it ships free with UPS or FedEx Ground, tracked, to any address in the United States. Dispatch takes 1 – 2 business days and transit a further 3 – 6. Unused attachments can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
