The Salt & Swim 3C Pro Control Unit W3SAS-PRO by Hayward is merely a control unit; a salt cell must be purchased separately. By turning table salt into 100% pure accessible chlorine, Salt and Swim 3C Pro offers comprehensive pool and spa sanitization. And because salt doesn't deteriorate or evaporate, it may be used repeatedly to create a seemingly limitless source of fresh chlorine.  

A well-maintained cell (sold separately) can produce 200 lbs. of 100% pure accessible chlorine, or the equivalent of a ton (literally) of liquid chlorine. The incredible advantage of salt chlorination is that it provides a more natural method of chlorinating your pool on its own. Salt chlorination gets rid of the overpowering chlorine smell that comes from chlorine produced in factories. Your unrivaled, opulent, and goggle-free experience is waiting!  

The W3SAS-PRO system attaches into 1-1/2" or 2" piping and is appropriate for in-ground pools up to 30,000 gallons. A pool specialist should install the unions on the Salt & Swim 3C Pro model, which needs to be bonded into the pool's plumbing system. The control unit has a common socket that connects to a 120V GFCI outlet.  

Buckets of conventional chlorine no longer need to be mixed, measured, moved, or stored thanks to Hayward's Salt & Swim 3C Pro.
